Job Description

Accountable for New Markets  Research & Data Analytics activities  to compile market and business insights on all relevant industries and geographies New Markets Research Data Analytics Director a STC initiate and conduct data modelling and predictive analysis to provide inputs on the commercial strategies as well as proactive retention insights for related Telco, Infrastructure & Re and Digital portfolios.

Job Responsibility

Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities
Contributes in the development of stc’s organization strategy and to the overall process of management and corporate decision making along with other members of the Executive Team.
Directs and manages the “  New Markets Research & Data Analytics ” mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
Leads and monitors change in the “  New Markets Research & Data Analytics ” providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the “  New Markets Research & Data Analytics ”.

Core Responsibilities

Compile market and business insights on all relevant industries and geographies and deliver routine reports for New Markets leadership team
Identify local and global market patterns and solutions through surveys and focus groups to support business expansion and growth
Perform market and business research/benchmarking of products/services and customer segments to assess any gaps and provide proper action plans.
Initiate and conduct data modelling and predictive analysis to provide inputs on the commercial strategies as well as proactive retention insights for related Telco, Infrastructure & Re and Digital portfolios
Collect data on customer needs, competitors’ positioning, and market trends, and disseminate information into actionable items, reports and presentations to relevant organizations, Telco, Infrastructure & RE and Digital portfolios
Develop and implement programs for knowledge sharing and centers of excellence for the multiple verticals in the New Market space
Handle and review global market analysis and intelligence for measuring international market status quo.

Analyze market trends, provide reliable data for decision-making.

Collaborate with external entities to enhance customer data.

Engage analyst firms, develop an organizational knowledge center.

People Management:

Set team goals and performance indicators, ensuring effective performance management.

Plan manpower for “New Markets Research & Data Analytics” aligned with business plans

Foster engagement, coach team members for capability development.

Performs other responsibilities and tasks related to the job as directed by line manager.

Years of Experience

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3-4 years in a similar role

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in market insights, trends & business intelligence in telecommunication industry

Education

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Engineering or  Masters Degree in Business Administration or Engineering

Certifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
