Job Description

Non Tech Costing Design Sec Manager at STC is liable for Maintaining a clear, updated and well documented snapshot of the cost allocation logic for business (non-technical) costs reflecting the adopted activity Based costing framework adopted in STC. And to Keeps track of latest trends in business cost allocation in the telecommunications industry and principles of Activity Based Costing and proposes improvements. In addition to Monitors the outputs of the business cost allocation process and validates them against standards and expectations. Job Responsibility

  • Maintains a clear, updated and well documented snapshot of the cost allocation logic for business (non-technical) costs reflecting the adopted activity Based costing framework adopted in STC
  • Designs, develop and maintains the business cost allocation logic in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders , including but not limited to:
    • Working with internal BUs and FUs to understand the process, resource consumptions, allocation drivers
    • Working with peers in Finance to align financial accounts structure, accounting treatments
    • Working with external consultants and experts in defining and improving the cost allocation models
    • Working with IT support to ensure the accurate implementation of the costing design on the systems
  • Ensure obtains the required approvals and maintains an updated database of those documents

Accountabilities

  • Ensures the business cost allocation models are compliant with current regulations
  • Coordinates projects related to the business cost allocation models
  • Monitors the outputs of the business cost allocation process and validates them against standards and expectations
  • Coordinate works with data acquisition and IT support teams to identify ongoing changes, affecting the allocation models, and making the required modifications and adjustments in the allocation design (e.g. logic, drivers) including but not limited to:
    • Changes in the organizational structure
    • Changes in customer segments, technologies
    • Changes in products and product categories
    • Changes in the charter of financial accounts
    • Changes in accounting treatment rules
    • Changes in reporting requirements

Years of Experience

Minimum of 6 years experience in a related discipline

Nature of Experience

Prior experience in Non-Technical Costing Design and specifically in the and specifically in the telecommunication function is strongly preferred

Education

Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business Administration or Masters Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Certifications

Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, is preferred
