Role Overview
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum, inspire students to develop a love for mathematics, and support their academic and personal growth. You will play a key role in improving student outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the school.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Maths to secondary students following the British curriculum
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
Monitor, assess, and report student progress effectively
Support students of all abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
Create a positive and safe classroom environment
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Participate in curriculum planning and departmental development
Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events
What We’re Looking For
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject
- PG Diploma and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized institution
Skills & Qualities:
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- High level of IT competency
