About the Role

WSP is seeking a skilled and dedicated Land Surveyor for a project in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

This role involves conducting detailed topographic and boundary surveys, preparing maps and reports, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all surveying activities on the construction site to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications

  • Conduct detailed topographic and boundary surveys, including the preparation of maps and reports

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation on-site

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address issues or discrepancies related to surveying data

  • Prepare and maintain detailed records of survey data, including field notes, sketches, and electronic data

  • Ensure that all surveying equipment is properly calibrated and maintained

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior surveyors and other team members

  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on surveying activities and findings

Qualifications

RequirementDetails
EducationBachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in surveying within the construction industry
Technical KnowledgeStrong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
Equipment ProficiencyProficiency in using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments
CommunicationExcellent communication and reporting skills
TeamworkAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to DetailStrong analytical skills and attention to detail
PreferredCertification in surveying or a related field is a plus
