Storekeeper Career at Urbacon Saudi Company KSA. Urbacon Saudi Company is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Storekeeper to manage inventory operations, oversee storage areas, and support the smooth flow of goods across the organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies, materials, and equipment — while keeping accurate records and ensuring stock levels meet operational demands. Your work will be central to optimising inventory management and maintaining a safe, efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and quality against purchase orders or packing slips.
  • Organise and maintain storage areas with proper labelling, shelving, and accessibility.
  • Issue materials and supplies to authorised personnel based on requisitions or work orders, maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely reorders to prevent stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts to reconcile records with actual stock on hand.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects, documenting discrepancies and coordinating with vendors for resolution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage areas in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Support the disposal or recycling of obsolete or surplus inventory per established procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfil material requests in a timely manner.
  • Use inventory management software (preferably SAP) to track movements, update records, and generate reports.
  • Participate in HSE initiatives, safety activities, and incident reporting aligned with company and IMS policies.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Solid knowledge of inventory control principles, stock level management, and auditing practices.
  • Strong attention to detail for recording transactions, inspecting goods, and spotting discrepancies.
  • Ability to organise storage areas for efficient retrieval and accessibility.
  • Effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving ability to address stockouts, overstocking, or damaged goods.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems — SAP functional skills are strongly preferred.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years total working experience
  • At least 2 years in a relevant inventory or warehousing role
  • GCC experience is an added advantage

Education & Certifications

  • Diploma in any related field
  • SAP / ERP system experience (required)
  • NEBOSH or HSE certification (advantageous)
