Key Responsibilities

Loading and Delivery

• Ensure all food items are picked up properly and safely transported to all designated locations

• Coordinate with the immediate supervisor for picking up goods from the Unit or designated areas

• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, charges are correct, and delivery note is acknowledged

• Load, transport, and deliver food to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner

• Assist with loading and unloading food from vehicles

Vehicle Maintenance

• Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance of the vehicle at all times

• Ensure daily logs are cleared for vehicles with valid documents

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports

• Ensure air conditioning units of the vehicle are functioning as per required standards

Route and Time Management

• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency

• Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations

• Ensure correct driving hours and rest periods are adhered to

Communication and Reporting

• Prepare reports and assist in other documents related to deliveries

• Communicate and coordinate with the logistics department

• In case of accident, report to line supervisor immediately

Compliance and Safety

• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record

• Ensure personal hygiene standards are followed as per requirements

• Provide excellent customer service

• Perform other duties as assigned beyond outlet operation situations

Skills Required

• Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles

• Knowledge of safety regulations and familiarity with traffic regulations

• Basic awareness of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

• Awareness of handling materials safely while transporting food, equipment, chemicals, etc.

• Driving experience in KSA is an additional advantage

• Willingness to work flexible hours and long duty timing if required

• Ability to read and write and understand English

• Basic awareness of Arabic language

• Valid driver’s license and ability to use navigation system
