About the Role

The Safety Officer will play a critical role in protecting employees, property, and facilities from workplace hazards by implementing effective HSE policies and safety procedures. The candidate will work closely with management and operational teams to maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement workplace safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Saudi/local safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor workplace safety performance and recommend improvements.
  • Organize safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
  • Develop emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and crisis management protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to inspections, incidents, audits, and employee safety training.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to strengthen safety practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding workplace health and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a safety-related position.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety regulations.
  • Experience in safety auditing, inspections, and hazard identification.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage emergency preparedness and workplace safety programs.

  • NEBOSH Certification
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
  • Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
