Job Description

Liable to perform value creation analysis on the optimal capital structure for stc and group companies to enhance return on capital and present to the management for decision making. He is also responsible to perform analysis of STC and its Group companies’ cash flow, based on approved business plan to assess the ability to pay dividends with different scenarios and assumptions. Capital Structuring and Dividend Management Director at STC shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedure.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyzes optimal capital structure for STC and subsidiaries to boost returns, informing management decisions.
  • Updates capital structure models with latest financials to assess project feasibility without harming credit ratings.
  • Collaborates with strategy, investments, and subsidiaries to gauge capital needs for STC and group.
  • Evaluates debt capacity for project and subsidiary capital structure analyses, aiding stakeholders.
  • Oversees drafting and implementation of approved dividend strategy and policy.
  • Assesses STC and subsidiaries’ cash flow to determine dividend feasibility based on business plans.
  • Conducts market impact analysis for recommended dividend strategies.
  • Analyzes STC’s stock buyback and dividend payout mechanisms, providing Board recommendations.
  • Presents long-term dividend strategy recommendations to management and Board.

Accountabilities

  • Reviews monthly and quarterly reports on dividend flow and working capital.
  • Analyzes STC’s performance via Economic Value Added (EVA) against industry peers.
  • Designs the group’s Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) methodology using input from capital and equity markets.
  • Updates the WACC methodology regularly with inputs from capital and equity markets.
  • Computes quarterly WACC for business assessment and aids financial reporting queries.
  • Computes periodic WACC for CITC account separation submissions.
  • Benchmarks industry standards for optimal working capital, guiding subsidiaries accordingly.
  • Categorizes vendors, negotiates terms based on benchmarks and market policies.
  • Collaborates with group companies to set working capital parameters for each subsidiary.
  • Conducts Ad-Hoc Analysis and builds benchmark data bank for senior management decisions.

Years of Experience

 A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar role

Nature of Experience

  •  Prior experience in Finance and specifically in the Capital Structuring & Dividend Management function is strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in telecommunications industry or a similar commercial service oriented industry within the KSA region and/or the Middle East region of a large scale is preferred

Skills

  •  Knowledge of Capital Structuring & Dividend Management, Financial Risk Management, and Financial Instruments principles and practices
  • Knowledge of KSA regulatory environment and context
  • Quantitative  and analytical skills
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solving skills including conflict resolution skills

Education

Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business Administration or Masters Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Certifications

  • Professional certifications such as CA, SOCPA, CFA or equivalent is preferred
