Company Description

Prince Sultan College founded itself in 1998 and actively enrolled students the following year. The Ministry of Higher Education promoted PSC to Prince Sultan University (PSU) in 2002. HRH Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud inaugurated the university.

The Al-Riyadh Philanthropic Society, the legal umbrella of PSU, established this non-profit institution in Riyadh. Under the chairmanship of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, who was governor of Riyadh at that time and the head of the Board of Directors, PSU was launched in dedication to the late Crown Prince Sultan. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, auspiciously oversaw the initiation of PSU.

The Ministry of Higher Education has granted licensing to PSU, further solidifying its status as a reputable educational institution. The journey from Prince Sultan College to Prince Sultan University signifies not only academic growth but also strategic transitions and visionary leadership. PSU’s mission aligns seamlessly with the broader educational objectives set by the Ministry of Higher Education, emphasizing a commitment to excellence.

Founded in 1998, Prince Sultan College swiftly enrolled students the following year. In 2002, the Ministry of Higher Education elevated it, resulting in the transformation into Prince Sultan University (PSU).

HRH Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, holding roles as Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense, and Inspector General, inaugurated PSU. This non-profit institution, situated in Riyadh, emerged through the efforts of the Al-Riyadh Philanthropic Society, the legal umbrella of PSU. The initiative gained momentum under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, who, at the time, served as the governor of Riyadh region and the chairman of the Board of Directors.
