Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of all staff programs, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and assessment strategies.
• Lead the development and implementation of educational policies and practices that align with the Academy’s mission.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of all students.
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance instructional practices and support professional development initiatives.
• Engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships that support student learning and development.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and standards.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff.
• Promote a culture of high expectations for both students and staff, driving academic excellence.
• Manage the budget for the Infant School, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
• Lead initiatives that integrate technology into the learning process.
• Represent the Academy at educational conferences and community events.
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels within the school community.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification such as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or PGCE, along with NPQH certification.
• Significant experience and knowledge of the English National Curriculum, particularly the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in an educational setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
• Creative and innovative approach to education, with resilience in facing challenges.
• Proficient in IT and organizational skills necessary for effective school management.
• A commitment to high educational standards and a sound philosophy of early years education.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal records check and provide necessary documentation as required by the school.
