Job Overview

As a Project Manager at Emirates Flight Catering, you will play a pivotal role in executing IT project strategies and ensuring the successful delivery of various IT initiatives. Your responsibilities will include managing resources effectively, planning project timelines, and utilizing tools such as Monday.com and JIRA to keep projects on track. You will be expected to monitor project performance and report on key metrics, fostering communication among stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

Your role will also involve leading a dedicated IT project team, where you will delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and motivate team members to achieve project goals. You will oversee the integration of applications and digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives while providing necessary support and training for smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement IT Project Office strategies and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage resource allocation across IT projects for optimal efficiency and utilization.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using project management tools.
• Monitor and report on the performance of IT projects using KPIs and metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage project scope changes and develop contingency plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead the IT project team, overseeing project execution and motivating team members.
• Coordinate the integration of applications and digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct post-mortems on projects to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Manage project budgets to ensure financial constraints are met while maximizing value.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP certification is advantageous.
• At least 7 years of project management experience, particularly in the IT sector.
• Proficient in project management software and methodologies.
• Experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Hands-on experience with relevant project management tools like Monday.com, MS Project, or JIRA.
• Analytical and reporting skills with a solid technical background in IT.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
