Job Overview
Almarai is looking for an experienced Senior Health, Safety & Security Advisor to join its Hail Poultry operations in Saudi Arabia. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that health, safety, and security systems are effectively implemented across the site while maintaining compliance with Almarai’s HSS policies, industry regulations, and international safety standards.
The successful candidate will oversee health, safety, and security performance, manage risk prevention initiatives, and support the development of a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage health, safety, and security programs across the Hail Poultry site.
- Ensure compliance with Almarai HSS policies and applicable local and international regulations.
- Monitor workplace safety performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective risk management and fire prevention strategies.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses while implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and other relevant health and safety management systems.
- Manage emergency preparedness, incident response, and business continuity procedures.
- Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement.
- Oversee contractor safety management and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify hazards and reduce workplace risks.
- Prepare safety reports, compliance documentation, and performance metrics for management.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH Certificate, OSHA certification, Postgraduate Certificate in Health & Safety, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Membership with recognized professional health and safety organizations is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Applicants should have:
- 7–10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Security management.
- At least 10 years of HSS experience within a poultry manufacturing or food production environment.
- Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in risk management and fire prevention.
- Experience implementing international health and safety standards in large industrial operations.
