Teaching Assistant Job in Dubai

Oakridge International School is looking for a Teaching Assistant – MOE Subjects to support classroom instruction and learning for Ministry of Education (MOE) related subjects such as Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies in Dubai. The position involves assisting teachers, supporting students academically and pastorally, and helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have 1–7 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with classroom preparation and delivery of MOE subjects.

• Provide academic support to students during class activities and individual or small-group learning.

• Help students with understanding lesson content, assignments, and progress.

• Support teachers in maintaining classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.

• Assist with grading, feedback, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.

• Support students’ pastoral needs and help foster a safe, inclusive environment.

• Collaborate with teachers and academic staff to align support with curriculum goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational qualification (preferred).

• 1–7 years of experience in educational support, teaching assistant, or similar role.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude toward student learning and wellbeing.

• Familiarity with MOE subjects and ability to support Arabic-language or Islamic studies contexts is advantageous.
