Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical and solar projects using AutoCAD or MICRO Station.
• Design solar PV systems, including panel layouts, string sizing, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and design teams to develop project drawings and documentation.
• Prepare detailed layouts, circuit diagrams, sketches, and equipment drawings.
• Maintain and update project documentation, revisions, and as-built drawings.
• Provide technical drafting support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Recommend design improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve design discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Advanced vocational or technical training from a recognized institution.
• Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering is an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and MICRO Station software.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of drafting experience in electrical engineering projects.
• Experience in solar or renewable energy projects will be an added advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of electrical and solar power systems.
