Position: Piping Design Engineer
Location: Doha, Qatar

The Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for technical design and development of piping systems, ensuring compliance with international codes and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop piping layouts, plans, and detailed drawings according to project requirements.
Review and interpret engineering specifications, codes (ASME/API), and standards.
Perform stress analysis, flexibility analysis, and support design for piping systems.
Prepare technical documentation, design calculations, and procurement specifications.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil/structural and mechanical disciplines.
Support project teams during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety/environmental standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
8–12 years of experience in piping design engineering, preferably within oil & gas, power, or petrochemical industries.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SmartPlant, etc.).
Strong understanding of piping codes and international standards.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and contribute to project deadlines.
Salary & Benefits (Estimated)
Average Salary Range for Piping Design Engineers in Qatar: QAR 8,000 – QAR 13,000 per month (typical market range for this role).
