As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for maximizing sales at every opportunity while ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and approach customers to understand their needs
- Present, demonstrate, and sell products using features, advantages, and benefits (FAB)
- Make a continuous effort to achieve the best sales results for your department
- Introduce customers to other departments after addressing their needs
- Assist in any section of the shop that may be under pressure
- Identify the needs and wants of Qatar Duty Free customers
- Maximize sales using the 10 best-selling techniques, including cross-selling and substitute selling
- Ensure the shop is fully merchandised according to department layout
- Keep shelves fully stocked or displayed to maximize selling opportunities
Qualifications
- Education & Experience: High School qualification with minimum 1 year job-related experience
- OR: Bachelor’s Degree with no prior work experience required
- Language: Effective English communication (written and spoken)
- Interpersonal Skills: Confident and strong interpersonal skills
- Integrity: High level of integrity
- Professionalism: Behave in a polite and business-like manner while on duty
- Customer Service: Be pleasant, approachable, and show the highest regard for customers at all times
