We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will inspect electrical installations, verify compliance with codes and specifications, prepare reports, and coordinate with contractors and project teams to ensure all electrical work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience — ideally 5+ years in electrical inspection, quality control, or site supervision within construction or infrastructure projects in Dubai or the Gulf region.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes/regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, or relevant local standards), installation practices, testing, and commissioning procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, report writing, and documentation abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams.
Willingness to visit project sites across Dubai and work under project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections of electrical systems and equipment at construction sites to ensure compliance with local and international codes/standards.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for adherence to project requirements.
Perform or witness testing and commissioning of electrical installations, including safety and performance checks, grounding, insulation, and circuit integrity.
Identify and document any non-conformities or safety hazards; issue inspection reports and coordinate corrective actions with contractors/engineers.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, site observations, test results, and approvals/rejections for compliance audits and project handovers.
Liaise with project managers, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Ensure health & safety regulations and best practices are followed on-site.
Salary & Market Insight
Typical Salary Range for Electrical Inspectors in Dubai
AED 10,000 – AED 13,000 per month — average around AED 11,500/month.
