Key Responsibilities
Define and design architecture for enterprise solutions including software systems, integrations, and platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders (business, dev, operations) to translate requirements into technical design and specifications.
Oversee solution development lifecycle: design reviews, code architecture, quality assurance, deployment strategies.
Ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability of solutions.
Prepare technical documentation: architecture diagrams, design documents, deployment plans, best-practices guidelines.
Lead technical decisions, choose appropriate frameworks, platforms, and tools.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Conduct code reviews, architectural audits, and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate in project planning, time estimations, and resource allocation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
6–12 years of professional experience in software architecture, solution design, or similar roles.
Strong experience in designing enterprise-level web / mobile / cloud solutions, integrations, microservices, APIs, and database design.
Hands-on knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks (depending on stack: e.g. backend languages, cloud platforms, databases, etc.).
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset, attention to quality, and ability to lead and mentor development teams.
Average Salary & Benefits
QAR 20,000 – QAR 36,000 / month — Based on recent salary data for Solution Architects in Qatar.
Typical market average is around QAR 22,000 – QAR 24,500/month according to recent salary surveys.
Experienced architects or those with higher seniority may earn up to QAR 36,000/month depending on company, project scale, and responsibilities.
