Key Responsibilities
Design and define enterprise-wide integration architectures: APIs, ESB/middleware solutions, microservices, and data integration across on‑premise and cloud systems.
Analyze business and technical requirements to propose integration strategies and solutions aligned with enterprise IT roadmap and standards.
Lead the architecture design, create high‑level and detailed architecture documentation, logical & deployment views, data flows, and integration patterns.
Provide technical leadership to implementation teams — guide, mentor and review designs to ensure compliance with standards, best practices, and performance/reliability/security requirements.
Evaluate and recommend integration platforms, tools, and middleware that fit business needs (cloud‑native, hybrid, ESB, API gateways, iPaaS, etc.).
Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, product owners, project managers, developers, infra teams) to ensure smooth integration delivery, manage dependencies, and provide architectural guidance across project phases.
Identify risks and technical challenges related to integration; propose mitigation strategies, perform root‑cause analysis and manage change/control where needed.
Keep abreast of integration trends, emerging tools/technologies, and industry best practices; recommend continuous improvement and modernization of integration frameworks and architecture.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
10–16 years of proven experience in integration architecture, enterprise application integration, middleware, or similar roles at enterprise scale. (matching the job’s listing range)
Strong technical understanding and hands‑on experience with integration technologies: APIs, ESB/middleware, microservices, API gateways, data integration, hybrid/on‑premise/cloud integration architectures.
Familiarity with integration design patterns, architecture documentation (logical/deployment/data views), data flows, security standards, and enterprise architecture governance.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and lead design/implementation efforts.
Leadership and mentoring skills to guide integration teams and ensure best practices are followed.
Salary & Benefits (Estimated / Market Insight)
QAR 28,000 – QAR 40,000 per month (for experienced Integration Architects in Doha, Qatar).
