Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials for undergraduate students, following approved curricula and academic guidelines.
Assist in practical or lab-based sessions if applicable (e.g. media production, editing, practical workshops).
Collaborate with fellow instructors, technical staff and administrative team to ensure a supportive teaching and learning environment.
Contribute to teaching & learning initiatives, implement best practices, and help enhance student learning outcomes.
Provide academic support — supervise student work, mentor students, support assignments or project-based learning, and foster student development.
Required Qualifications & Candidate Profile
For Lecturer role: Postgraduate degree (Master’s or equivalent) in relevant discipline (e.g. Media, Film, Communications, or related)
For Teaching Assistant role: Undergraduate degree at least.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Film/Media industry or academic teaching/assistance roles.
Strong proficiency in media-production related tools and workflows is a plus (for Film/Media programme) — e.g. video editing, post-production, studio equipment (depending on subject).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity to engage and support a multicultural student body.
Estimated Salary & Benefits
AED 8,000 – AED 18,000 / month — this range aligns with reported compensation for adjunct lecturers in Dubai.
Actual pay may vary depending on teaching load, subject, and experience.
