Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with lesson preparation, classroom setup, and organizing teaching materials.

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students who need extra help, reinforcement, or attention to ensure they understand lessons.

• Supervise students during class activities, breaks, lunch, and field trips; ensure their safety and wellbeing.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and resource-ready classroom environment. Prepare displays, manage learning materials, and assist with classroom logistics.

• Assist in administrative tasks like attendance tracking, basic record-keeping, and supporting teachers with grading or paperwork as needed.

• Support inclusive education by helping students with diverse learning needs when required.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum high school diploma; a diploma/degree in Education, Child Development, or related field is a plus.

• Prior experience (e.g. 1–3 years) working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting — though some schools may consider fresh candidates with right attitude.

• Good command of English (spoken & written); additional language skills (Arabic, other) are a plus.

• Strong communication, patience, empathy, and ability to support children’s learning and emotional needs.

• Ability to work as part of a team, assist teachers, follow instructions, and maintain a safe, clean classroom environment.
