We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Dubai-based school. You will work alongside lead teachers to support learning across classes — assisting in lesson preparation, group activities, and ensuring a supportive learning environment. This role offers a chance to contribute to student development and work in a dynamic, international school setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering lessons, and support classroom activities.

• Supervise small groups or individual students to support learning, including reading, numeracy, phonetics, or other curriculum areas.

• Help manage classroom resources — prepare materials, worksheets, support displays, and maintain organised classroom environment.

• Provide support for students needing extra attention, help with differentiated learning needs, and contribute to a safe and inclusive environment.

• Occasionally cover classes when needed (e.g. in emergencies) and assist with school activities outside core teaching (e.g. group sessions, supervised study, extracurricular support).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Good command of English (spoken and written), with strong communication skills.

• Basic ICT skills desirable.

• Previous experience working with children or in a teaching/support role is advantageous.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure and maintain professionalism, while relating well to children and colleagues.
