Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineering and maintenance projects. This includes planning, resources allocation, and coordination of operations involving crane, lifting, and mechanical handling teams. You will act as a key point of contact with clients, ensuring that projects adhere to scope, quality, and safety standards. You’ll also manage cost control, reporting, and risk mitigation to ensure project milestones are met successfully.
What You Bring to the Table
You should have 5–10 years of project management experience, preferably within industrial services, offshore, or energy sectors. A strong engineering or technical background (mechanical, industrial, or related) is critical, along with a proven ability to manage complex projects involving specialized equipment. Your leadership and communication skills should help you mobilize and guide engineering and field teams efficiently. You’re also detail-oriented and capable of creating project documentation, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships, and working within HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
Based on sector norms for project management roles in Qatar, a Project Manager with 5–10 years’ experience can expect a monthly salary in the range of QAR 12,000–16,000, depending on experience and project size. (This is an estimate derived from similar roles.) Work Environment
You will be based in Doha and will often travel to project sites or offshore locations to coordinate activities.
