Role / Job Purpose

The QA/QC Head will lead and oversee the quality assurance and control function across the company’s precast                               concrete operations. You will ensure that all concrete products maintain high standards from batching through to final                         finishing, enforce ISO compliance, and guide continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and standard operating processes for precast production.
• Monitor and control quality at all stages: batching, casting, curing, demoulding, and finishing.
• Conduct internal audits, drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and lead investigations into non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Develop and optimize concrete mix designs for various finishes (e.g., acid-washed, sandblasted, white concrete).
• Supervise quality of raw materials — aggregates, cement, admixtures, reinforcement — through regular testing.
• Lead sample/mock-up approvals and client/consultant reviews for surface finishes.
• Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation: test reports, inspection checklists, calibration records, traceability logs.
• Oversee ISO system compliance (9001, 14001, 45001) and liaise with auditors/certification bodies.
• Coordinate with production, design, and project teams to ensure quality expectations are understood and met.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of QA/QC engineers, lab technicians, and inspectors.
• Set KPIs for the QA/QC department and track team performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC within the precast concrete industry.
• Strong expertise in concrete mix design, modern concrete technologies, and surface finishing.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 (and ideally 14001 / 45001) quality management systems.
• Familiarity with international construction and quality standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, PCI).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in non-conformance resolution.
• Good coordination with diverse teams (production, design, auditing) and external stakeholders.
