Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned AEM Tech Lead to join our Doha, Qatar team. This role will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality AEM-based content management solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and architects to deliver scalable and maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) projects.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to AEM developers and maintain coding standards.
Define component-based architecture and implement reusable components, templates, and workflows.
Oversee the integration of AEM with other systems (e.g., CRMs, ERPs, backend services).
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure security best practices.
Work in collaboration with project managers, QA, and UX/UI teams to deliver high-quality deliverables.
Drive proof-of-concept (PoC) developments and prototype new features.
Troubleshoot production issues, manage deployments, and maintain AEM environments.
Participate in project estimation, planning, and architecture discussion.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Requirements:
8–14 years of professional experience in software development.
Deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM 6.x.
Strong Java skills, Sling / OSGi framework, and JCR repository knowledge.
Experience building and maintaining AEM components, templates, services, workflows.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and client-side frameworks.
Experience integrating AEM with RESTful APIs and other backend systems.
Excellent problem-solving, architectural thinking, and design pattern knowledge.
Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
Good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins, and automated testing for AEM.
Knowledge of cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure) for AEM instances.
Experience with Dispatcher or CDN configuration.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Salary & Benefits
QAR 12,000 – 20,000 per month — This is consistent with Tech Lead compensation in Qatar.
