Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Design Infrastructure Engineer with 10-12 years of infrastructure design expertise to work on major infrastructure projects in Doha. You’ll lead design activities, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with Qatar’s standards, and help deliver robust infrastructure solutions that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design of infrastructure components (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.) from concept through to detailed design.

• Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP engineering teams and ensure integration of design packages.

• Ensure all design outputs comply with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.

• Prepare and review design drawings, technical reports, calculation sheets and specifications.

• Interface with clients, consultants and contractors to resolve design issues and implement revisions.

• Mentor junior engineers, review work, and ensure quality control within the design team.

• Support tender presentations, value engineering, and design optimisation activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Civil, Infrastructure or a related Engineering discipline.

• 10-12 years’ hands-on experience in infrastructure design (in the GCC preferred, Qatar experience a plus).

• Strong command of design software and modelling tools relevant to infrastructure projects.

• Sound knowledge of Qatar standards, infrastructure codes, and consulting process.

• Excellent coordination, communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Previous involvement in large scale infrastructure projects in Qatar (roads, utilities, urban development).

• Experience working in a consulting or contractor environment and managing deliverables under tight timelines.

• Familiar with BIM/CAD modes of working and modern infrastructure design workflows.
