Job Overview

• Location:  Dubai United Arab Emirates

• Reports To: CEO / Managing Director / Executive Committee

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Experience: Typically 10+ years in operations leadership (GCC or UAE experience preferred)

• Key Focus: Strategic operations leadership, process optimisation, team management, growth scaling

Role – Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s operations strategy in alignment with business objectives.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational functions across multiple business units (manufacturing, service delivery, logistics, support functions).

• Lead cross‑functional teams (operations, logistics, HR, IT, customer service) to deliver operational excellence.

• Set, monitor and report on key operational metrics and KPIs; identify performance gaps and drive improvement.

• Manage budgets, resource planning, cost optimisation and productivity initiatives.

• Implement scalable processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement frameworks.

• Ensure quality, safety, compliance with UAE regulations and governance frameworks across operations.

• Drive growth, scalability and capability‑building to support company expansion initiatives.

• Manage senior stakeholders, report to executive leadership and present operational updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong track record in operations leadership with substantial experience in the UAE or GCC region.

• Proven ability in process optimisation, resource management and operational growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Experience with multi‑unit operations, operational KPIs, budgeting and performance improvement.

• Strategic thinker combined with hands‑on execution capability.

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, quality standards and safety practices.

• Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Salary & Market Insight

• Similar Head of Operations roles in the UAE offer salaries in the range of AED 25,000–30,000/month, inclusive of allowances.

• Indeed listings suggest roles of this level in Dubai might offer AED 18,000–20,000/month as a base for standard operations heads.
