Education: Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or Electronic Instrumentation
Experience: 3–5 years in instrumentation maintenance in industrial/utility environment

Role – Key Responsibilities
Perform regular routine and breakdown maintenance of field instruments such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, temperature & vibration sensors.
Attend on-call duty for emergencies related to field instruments and equipment.
Assist the section foreman & senior technicians in carrying out combined works.
Prepare spare parts requirements for foreman/engineer and withdraw from stores.
Read and interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings, control schematics, O&M manuals and follow procedures.
Work within utilities, water-treatment, desalination, or pumping station operations, as per site demands.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.
3-5 years of working experience in maintenance of field instrumentation within industrial plants.
Proficient understanding of instruments and sensors (flow, pressure, level, temperature, vibration, water-quality analyzers).
Ability to read and understand schematic drawings, instrumentation diagrams, and manuals.
Strong team-player, with ability to support emergency work and adhere to safety protocols.
Willingness to be part of on-call rotations or emergency response as needed.
Salary & Market Insight
According to Indeed, the average monthly salary for an Instrument Technician in Doha is approximately QAR 2,429/month.
Considering the specialized instrumentation role, a competitive salary estimate could be in the range of QAR 2,500–3,500/month, subject to experience and shift/on-call allowances.
