Job Overview
Location: Doha, Qatar
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Department: Cybersecurity / Information Security
Reports To: Security Manager / Head of Security Operations
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Experience: 8–10 years in security analysis, threat intelligence, or incident response
Certifications (preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+ or equivalent
Role – Key Responsibilities
Conduct cyber risk assessments and identify security gaps in systems.
Monitor security alerts, analyze logs, and investigate suspicious activity.
Lead incident response: detect, analyze, contain, and remediate security incidents.
Develop and update security playbooks, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls, patches, and best practices.
Provide threat intelligence and vulnerability management updates.
Conduct security assessments (e.g., penetration tests, vulnerability scans) in coordination with external partners.
Conduct security awareness training and workshops.
Prepare regular reporting on security posture, KPIs, and incident metrics for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in security operations, threat detection, and incident response.
Good knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and vulnerability management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication to report findings and recommend solutions.
Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Ability to work independently and lead security investigations.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
