Job Overview

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

  • Experience: 3–10 years (depending on seniority) in electrical inspection, testing, or commissioning

  • Nationality: Open

Role – Electrical Inspector

  • Perform site inspections for electrical installations, including wiring, panels, switchgear, grounding, and safety systems

  • Develop, review, and execute Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with specifications

  • Conduct tests (insulation resistance, continuity, high-potential, etc.) and verify results against standards

  • Document non-conformances and follow through with corrective actions

  • Coordinate with contractors, project engineers, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues

  • Ensure all electrical works meet local codes, industry standards, and health & safety regulations

  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, punch lists, and compliance documentation

  • Support commissioning activities and handover of tested systems

  • Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or similar technical qualification

  • Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, or quality control in a construction or industrial environment

  • Good understanding of electrical testing instruments and procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and report writing skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities

  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems

  • Knowledge of UAE/local electrical regulations and standards is a plus

  • Safety-oriented mindset and commitment to quality
