Department: Quality Assurance / Engineering / Inspection
Reports To: QA/QC Manager, Quality Director, or Project Manager
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience: 3–10 years (depending on seniority) in electrical inspection, testing, or commissioning
Nationality: Open
Role – Electrical Inspector
Perform site inspections for electrical installations, including wiring, panels, switchgear, grounding, and safety systems
Develop, review, and execute Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with specifications
Conduct tests (insulation resistance, continuity, high-potential, etc.) and verify results against standards
Document non-conformances and follow through with corrective actions
Coordinate with contractors, project engineers, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues
Ensure all electrical works meet local codes, industry standards, and health & safety regulations
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, punch lists, and compliance documentation
Support commissioning activities and handover of tested systems
Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or similar technical qualification
Proven experience in electrical inspection, testing, or quality control in a construction or industrial environment
Good understanding of electrical testing instruments and procedures
Strong attention to detail and report writing skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation systems
Knowledge of UAE/local electrical regulations and standards is a plus
Safety-oriented mindset and commitment to quality
