Role – FMCG Manager
You will oversee all commercial activities related to the FMCG business in Qatar: developing and executing sales strategies, managing distributor and retail network performance, negotiating contracts, forecasting demand, and ensuring the profitability and growth of FMCG product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement FMCG sales strategies and business plans.
Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts.
Forecast sales, set targets, and monitor performance against goals.
Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade terms with customers.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to drive growth.
Lead and mentor a sales team, and support channel partners.
Monitor P&L and contribute to margin optimization.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards and internal policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in sales or commercial roles.
Strong understanding of distribution models, retail operations, and FMCG channel dynamics.
Proven track record in building and managing sales teams.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
Proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with CRM / ERP systems.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
