Role – Chef de Partie
You will manage a designated section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, pastry, hot section), prepare and present dishes at the required standard, supervise junior kitchen staff (commis, apprentices), monitor food quality and hygiene, and work closely with the kitchen leadership team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute dishes in your section according to menu and standards.
Ensure kitchen staff in your section are trained, supervised, and operations run smoothly.
Monitor food quality, portioning, presentation and consistency.
Support menu development and collaborate with sous/ head chef on specials and concept changes.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety standards in line with HACCP / kitchen protocols.
Manage stock levels, ingredients, and coordinate with storeroom/kitchen-inventory.
Assist in shift hand-over, cleaning, closing procedures, and ensuring your section is ready for next service.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or equivalent section chef role in a hospitality/kitchen environment.
Skilled in relevant kitchen section (hot, grill, pastry, etc.) with an eye for quality and presentation.
Ability to supervise others, train junior staff and ensure section runs efficiently under pressure.
Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and service standards.
Strong communication skills in English; additional languages an asset.
Salary & Market Insight
