Role – Senior Storekeeper

You’ll lead store operations for the club’s stock & supplies. Responsibilities include receiving goods, checking quality & quantities, maintaining accurate inventory records, supervising storekeepers / store attendants, ensuring proper storage & safety, coordinating with procurement & operations teams, and implementing best practices in stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming inventory shipments for quality, quantity, and accuracy.

• Maintain organized storage, proper labeling, FIFO / stock rotation practices.

• Lead and supervise store staff: assign duties, train, maintain performance and safety.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in system; perform periodic stock counts / reconciliation.

• Request supplies proactively, liaise with procurement to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

• Ensure storehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health & safety guidelines.

• Monitor usage rates; report stock variances and propose corrective actions.

• Prepare reports on stock levels, losses, usage trends for management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5-8 years’ storekeeping / warehouse experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, stocktaking, storage methods, material handling.

• Proficient in using inventory / warehouse management software; familiar with MS Excel.

• Good communication, leadership & organizational skills.

• Attention to detail & ability to maintain accurate records.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and under guidance; proactive approach.
