Job Overview

• Location: Dubai, UAE

• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

• Department: Food & Beverage / Front-of-House

• Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B Supervisor

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some F&B / hospitality experience is a plus

• Experience: 1-3 years in waiter/waitress or similar hospitality role preferred

Role – Waitstaff

You will be responsible for providing courteous, timely service to guests, ensuring satisfaction and smooth operations in the dining area. Tasks include taking orders, serving food & drinks, clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and working with kitchen / bar staff to ensure meal service is seamless.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests upon arrival.

• Take accurate food & beverage orders; explain menu items when needed.

• Serve meals and drinks smoothly; follow service standards.

• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

• Clear tables, manage table turnover, and maintain front-of-house cleanliness and hygiene.

• Assist with setting up dining area: table settings, glasses, utensils.

• Handle cash or POS transactions when needed.

• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and service protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality service (waiter/waitress preferred).

• Good communication in English; additional languages (Arabic, etc.) are a plus.

• Presentable, polite, customer-focused, with energy and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work on feet for long shifts; physical fitness.

• Basic numeracy and ability to handle orders and payments.

• Team player and good at managing multiple tasks.

Average Salary

• Waitstaff roles in Dubai typically pay around AED 2,800-4,500 per month depending on experience, quality of venue, tips, and service charges.

• Salaries often include tips, service charges, uniform, and maybe meal allowances.
