Teaching Assistant at Smart Vision School, Dubai. Smart Vision School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students’ learning, wellbeing, and overall development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that helps every student achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students who require additional assistance.
• Support Students of Determination, ELL learners, and students with diverse learning needs.
• Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom resources.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, break times, and school events as required.

Student Wellbeing & Behaviour

• Promote positive behaviour and inclusion in line with school policies.
• Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing through encouragement and guidance.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Report any safeguarding or student welfare concerns to the appropriate staff member.

Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
• Follow school policies relating to safeguarding, student welfare, and health and safety.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
• Attend relevant training sessions and staff meetings when required.
• Support school events and activities when requested.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
• Patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with students.
• Understanding of child safety and wellbeing responsibilities.

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
• Experience supporting Students of Determination or English Language Learners (ELL).
• Previous experience working in UAE schools.
