Key Responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, plans, and survey-related documents before site activities.
• Perform land surveys, field measurements, and geodetic calculations.
• Supervise and monitor surveying activities throughout project execution.
• Verify project survey requirements with clients, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Check setting-out, levels, alignments, and site dimensions for accuracy.
• Locate existing underground utilities and ensure they are protected during construction.
• Prepare field sketches, survey calculations, and technical documentation.
• Measure completed work and maintain accurate survey records.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings for completed works.
• Coordinate with project engineers to resolve surveying issues on site.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations during all field activities.
• Carry out additional surveying duties assigned by project management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Land Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure and utility construction projects.
• At least 4 years of consultancy experience within the GCC or regional market.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, construction layouts, and field measurements.
• Experience using Total Station, GPS equipment, data collectors, and survey software.
• Proficiency in CAD software and survey applications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to attend in-person interviews.
• Knowledge of construction methods and industry best practices is preferred.
