Job Overview

KEO International Consultants is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying, setting out, site verification, and monitoring survey-related construction activities to ensure accuracy, quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend daily inspection requests for surveying and setting-out activities and verify completed works on site.
  • Review contractor drawings and site operations to ensure required survey checks are completed accurately.
  • Prepare daily written and photographic reports covering survey-related project progress.
  • Review shop drawings for setting-out accuracy and identify existing areas that may be affected by proposed road construction works.
  • Support the Senior Land Surveyor in responding to stakeholder queries regarding the orientation and positioning of proposed works.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and working methods.
  • Stop or report unsafe work practices when necessary and escalate safety concerns to site management and relevant safety personnel.
  • Participate in technical, safety, quality, and progress meetings as required.
  • Monitor ongoing and scheduled works to identify potential survey or construction issues before they affect project progress.
  • Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve survey-related issues and maintain construction accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or an equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in land surveying, setting out, and construction site inspection.
  • Experience working on large-scale landscape-related projects in the UAE is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of surveying procedures, site setting-out, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to review drawings and identify potential site coordination issues.
  • Good knowledge of construction safety requirements.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
