Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and execute inquiry-based lessons that spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
• Create an Inclusive Classroom: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that respects diverse learning styles and individual strengths.
• Differentiate Instruction: Tailor teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students, including EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners, gifted students, and those needing additional support.
• Leverage Technology: Integrate modern technology and innovative approaches to enhance student engagement and academic success.
• Assess and Monitor Progress: Use data-driven insights to track student progress, providing personalized support and clear feedback.
• Collaborate with Faculty: Work alongside colleagues to design and enhance IB-aligned curriculum, resources, and assessments.
• Engage in Co-Curricular Activities: Actively participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
• Support Student Wellbeing: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community to ensure the growth and development of each student.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning and self-reflection to enhance teaching practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic English Teacher with the following qualifications:

• Teaching Qualification: A certified degree-level qualification in teaching, such as a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent in English specialization.
• Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in teaching Secondary English, preferably within an IB Curriculum. Experience with MYP and DP is an advantage, though not essential.
• Passion for Teaching: A passion for innovative, inquiry-based teaching that inspires students.
• Commitment to Growth: An eagerness to grow professionally and contribute to a forward-thinking, collaborative team.
