Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced diagnostics and repairs on complex electrical and electronic faults, including CAN bus systems and infotainment modules.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment for fault tracing and repairs.
• Perform ECU flashing, software updates, and control module programming according to manufacturer specifications.
• Execute ADAS calibration, sensor alignment, and key coding as needed.
• Diagnose and service high-voltage systems in electric and hybrid vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Conduct battery health assessments and inspect high-voltage wiring and components.
• Maintain and calibrate high-voltage diagnostic tools to ensure accurate performance.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols for high-voltage systems, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Document all diagnostic processes, fault codes, and repair actions accurately in the Dealer Management System.
• Provide technical support to general technicians and escalate complex issues to Technical Support Engineers when necessary.
• Share knowledge and best practices with the workshop team to enhance overall capabilities.
• Contribute to internal training and updates for junior technicians.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• OEM certifications in electrical diagnostics, EV systems, or high-voltage safety are highly desirable.
• 4-6 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with a focus on electrical and electronic systems.
• Demonstrated experience in complex diagnostics and ECU programming.
• Hands-on experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in using OEM diagnostic tools and understanding vehicle communication networks.
• Ability to interpret advanced electrical wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Familiarity with ADAS calibration equipment and warranty systems.
