Job Overview

Emirates NBD is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager – Credit Support (UAE National) to join its Credit Operations team in Dubai. This role plays a key part in supporting the credit underwriting function by delivering accurate reporting, coordinating operational processes, maintaining system efficiency, and preparing essential credit documentation.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to improve operational performance, support credit-related system enhancements, monitor workflows, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the credit function.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain management information reports (MIS), dashboards, and performance metrics for the Credit team.
• Analyze data from credit systems to identify pending applications, operational trends, and process exceptions.
• Track property valuation requests and coordinate with valuation agencies to ensure timely report delivery.
• Develop management reports and presentations to support operational planning and business decisions.
• Prepare mortgage contracts, sanction letters, and other credit-related documents with accuracy.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system upgrades, products, and process improvements.
• Record testing outcomes, report issues, and work with stakeholders to resolve system-related concerns.
• Act as a subject matter expert for credit systems and operational workflows.
• Provide Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic translation for customer and business documents.
• Support verification activities related to credit applications, field verification, and RMFC checks.
• Participate in automation initiatives and continuous process improvement projects.
• Prepare monthly operational performance reviews and productivity reports.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• UAE National status is required for this position.
• Professional certifications in banking or finance are considered an advantage.

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in credit operations, banking support, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of credit underwriting processes and banking operations.
• Experience preparing management reports and working with operational data.
• Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system enhancement projects is preferred.
• Experience with mortgage processing or retail banking credit documentation is an advantage.
