Job Overview

As a Senior Network Engineer at Al Rostamani Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our network infrastructure. This position is designed for a CCIE certified professional with extensive experience in managing enterprise-level networks. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining IP network services, which encompass core routers, switches, servers, and various applications. Success in this role means ensuring optimal network performance and reliability for our diverse customer base.

Your work will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including customers, service providers, and business partners, to design and implement robust network solutions. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex networking issues and providing technical support as needed, ensuring that our network services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network hardware and applications to ensure seamless operations.
• Plan and implement data network infrastructure and WiFi solutions in collaboration with customers and partners, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Configure and install firewalls to enhance network security.
• Provide post-sales support to customers, addressing any technical issues that arise.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert, offering assistance with technical support challenges as required.
• Collaborate with Technical Managers on the development and evaluation of new products and tools, including third-party solutions.
• Prepare and submit weekly reports detailing operations and project statuses, highlighting any escalations and cost-saving measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within multi-vendor data networks in a timely manner.
• Support project implementation efforts and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Prepare and validate Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), and other project-related documents.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager that fall within the scope of work.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A graduate or diploma in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or Computer Science.
• At least 8 years of experience in enterprise network implementation and support.
• CCIE and HCIE certifications are mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of converged networks, wireless technologies, security protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, and network management software.
• Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solutions is a plus.
• Proficient in implementing and troubleshooting Cisco networking and WiFi solutions; familiarity with other brands like HP, Huawei, and Cambium is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with at least one firewall product (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Checkpoint).
• Comprehensive understanding of the full network lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, documentation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, and NetFlow/SFlow.
• Understanding of LDAP, DNS, RADIUS, and TACACS+ protocols.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to build relationships.
