As a Process Operation Engineer within the Industrial Certification Division, you will play a crucial role in upholding job certification standards, ensuring that employees meet the competencies required for their roles. Your responsibilities will include overseeing compliance with job certification processes, developing and reviewing competency tests, and conducting evaluations to validate employee proficiency. By fostering awareness of job certification across the company, you will contribute to Aramco’s mission of maximizing value and ensuring the highest standards in operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of operator recertification tests, including creating databases, assessments, graphics, and test items.
- Act as an analyst for recertification tests, collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure alignment with operational standards.
- Conduct pilot tests on newly developed or modified recertification tests to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
- Work closely with line organizations to address queries and support their job certification needs.
- Perform third-party evaluations for plant operation employees, providing detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Verify the validity and activation of operator recertification test items in SuccessFactors and QM server.
- Deliver job certification awareness sessions to stakeholders and promptly address any concerns raised.
- Support the administration of recertification tests and proctor them at various locations as required.
- Prepare competency index reports for job certification and share improvement opportunities with management.
- Monitor and track test requests, attempts, eligibility, discrepancies, and violations.
- Complete special project assignments as directed by supervisors or group leaders.
- Assist organizations in maintaining their job certification competency index.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering from an accredited institution.
- At least 10 years of experience in process operations within the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with SAP/SuccessFactors as an end-user.
- Strong proficiency in English, with excellent job skills, training, and computer capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
