Job Overview

As a Sales Assistant at Al-Futtaim, you will be integral to the daily operations of the store, working closely with the store manager to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your role will involve not only meeting sales targets but also coaching and developing your team to enhance their skills and performance. Success in this position means achieving both daily and monthly sales goals while fostering a positive shopping experience for customers.

You will be responsible for training new staff members, utilizing coaching cards to enhance their product knowledge, and ensuring that all team members adhere to the company’s customer service standards. Your ability to manage customer feedback and provide insightful advice will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the store manager to address daily operational challenges.
• Conduct daily coaching sessions for team members to improve performance.
• Plan and strategize sales targets on a daily basis.
• Work towards achieving set daily and monthly store targets.
• Lead training sessions for Sales Assistants and Senior Sales Assistants, focusing on product knowledge.
• Utilize coaching cards to facilitate effective training sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback on products, promotions, and staff development.
• Share best practices in sales techniques and customer service, upholding the Stay GOLD approach.
• Handle complex cashiering tasks, including voids and exchanges.
• Request stock from the merchandiser as needed.
• Make informed decisions based on VP judgments.
• Manage customer feedback and provide appropriate solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Thai nationality, aged between 20 to 35 years.
• Possession of a Vocational Certificate or higher qualification.
• A minimum of three years of experience in the fashion or retail industry.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Fluent in English and Chinese at a business level.
• Ability to work effectively in a department store environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Energetic, self-motivated, well-organized, and disciplined.
