The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that each child is engaged and inspired to learn. Key Responsibilities

• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum effectively, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all students.
• Provide constructive feedback to students through both verbal and written communication, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform future planning.
• Engage with parents through regular communication, including conferences and report writing, to keep them informed about their child’s development.
• Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
• Utilize data to inform lesson planning and to provide detailed reports to parents regarding student achievements.
• Encourage best practices within the department and share innovative teaching strategies with colleagues.
• Foster a classroom environment that values risk-taking and creativity, placing the child at the center of the learning process.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students and the school environment.
• Support students who are learning English as an Additional Language (EAL) to ensure their successful integration into the classroom.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least two years of post-qualification teaching experience, particularly in Early Years education.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage programme and its implementation.
• Ability to create an enabling environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
• Demonstrated empathy and the ability to build relationships across diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to team success.
• Willingness to embrace innovative teaching approaches and adapt to the changing educational landscape.
• Experience with EAL students is advantageous but not mandatory.
