About the Role
Teacher — Emirates British Nursery (EBN)
Emirates British Nursery has been shaping early childhood education in Dubai since 2000, delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage framework under the British National Curriculum. As part of GMG’s Ventures division, EBN is looking for a Teacher to join one of its Dubai locations ahead of the new academic intake, helping young children build the foundational knowledge and skills they’ll carry through the rest of their schooling.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Lead activities that support each child’s physical, emotional, and educational development, with safety as a constant priority
- Deliver planned learning programs while encouraging children to build independent learning habits
- Maintain a high standard of care and education aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Adapt activities and teaching approaches to ensure every child, regardless of need, feels included and supported
- Track and record each child’s progress through the Learning and Development Profile Book
- Take responsibility for the health, safety, welfare, and security of all children in your care
- Contribute to ongoing assessments and progress reports on children’s development
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by nursery management
Must-Haves
- A university degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field), paired with a certified Level III vocational qualification in early childhood care and education
- Alternatively, a high school diploma combined with a certified CACHE Level 3 qualification, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in child care or education
- Native-level English proficiency
- Currently based in Dubai, or open to relocating regardless of whether this specific role works out
Pay
- 9,000 AED per month
