Role Overview

Our children are at the center of everything we do. Babies, toddlers, and young children thrive when they are loved and well cared for.

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work alongside the lead teacher to support daily nursery operations, manage the classroom, and ensure every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged.

This role requires someone who is warm, observant, and responsive to children’s needs – from mealtime to nap time, from playtime to learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines

• Ensure the classroom and other key areas remain clean, organized, and safe

• Assist children during meals, snack times, and restroom breaks

• Help children with naptime – settling them down and ensuring restful sleep

• Attend to the individual needs of each child with patience and care

• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play

• Help prepare learning materials and activity stations

• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families

• Follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field

• Experience: Minimum 2 years working in a nursery or early childhood setting

• Gender: Female (as specified by the nursery)

• Personal Qualities:
