What You’ll Be Doing

As our Islamic Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Islamic Studies department to support students in their learning journey.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Helping the class teacher deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons

• Working with children one-to-one or in small groups

• Leading intervention sessions for students who need extra support

• Preparing the classroom environment – indoors and outdoors – to spark curiosity and learning

• Being a positive role model and living the HES Values every day

• Following all safeguarding policies and keeping children safe

• Taking part in school life, training, and team activities with energy and professionalism
