Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily inspections of civil and structural works to verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety guidelines.
Review drawings, technical documents, and method statements for accuracy and adherence to requirements.
Monitor construction activities, ensuring materials, workmanship, and procedures meet approved standards.
Document non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and project engineers.
Prepare inspection requests, progress reports, site observations, and quality-related documentation.
Witness and verify testing procedures for soil, concrete, asphalt, and other civil materials.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and report any site hazards.
Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth project execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong experience in civil inspection — ideally 5+ years within construction or infrastructure projects.
Solid knowledge of civil engineering codes, regulations, and quality control procedures.
Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Strong report-writing, communication, and documentation abilities.
Familiarity with Abu Dhabi construction regulations and site inspection protocols.
Salary & Market Insight
AED 9,000 – AED 13,000 per month (typical market average around AED 11,000/month)
