Key Responsibilities
Draft, review and manage commercial contracts and agreements related to power projects — including procurement, supply, service & maintenance, project delivery, vendor agreements, etc.
Perform cost estimation, budgeting, financial analysis and commercial viability assessments for projects.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, clients and stakeholders to ensure commercial terms and delivery schedules are met.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal corporate standards in all commercial agreements.
Support vendor management, subcontractor coordination, procurement negotiations — ensuring commercial feasibility and risk mitigation.
Monitor project progress, updates, and contractual deliverables; manage amendments, renewals, and documentations as required.
Provide commercial support during project lifecycle — from bid/tender stage through execution and post-delivery/service phases.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Prior experience in commercial engineering, contract management, procurement or project coordination — preferably in energy, power generation, construction or heavy-industry sectors.
Strong understanding of commercial contracts, cost estimation, financial analysis, procurement practices, and risk management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and coordinate across different teams/departments.
Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills may be advantageous.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
Experience in power generation / energy projects, turbine supply or heavy-industry contracts.
Knowledge of regional regulations, compliance standards, and GCC-specific contract requirements.
Understanding of sustainable energy practices, hydrogen-ready technologies, or renewable-energy project frameworks (beneficial given company’s portfolio).
Strong financial modelling, procurement planning, and project-management support skills.
Salary & Benefits (Estimated)
Typical Monthly Salary Range in Saudi Arabia for Commercial Engineer roles: SAR 7,000 – SAR 11,000/month (depending on experience and employer).
Middle-of-range (median) compensation is around SAR 9,000/month.
Actual package may include allowances, bonuses, and benefits depending on employer’s policy.
