Key Responsibilities
Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems — pipes, fixtures, drainage, water supply systems.
Inspect and diagnose plumbing problems (e.g. leaks, blockages, water pressure issues) and perform necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance, preventive checks on plumbing installations to ensure ongoing functionality.
Read and interpret plumbing layouts, blueprints, or job drawings where applicable.
Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards during all plumbing work.
Maintain tools, materials, and equipment used for plumbing tasks; ensure their proper usage and storage.
Provide accurate reports on work done — completion status, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Collaborate with other technicians, supervisors, or clients to schedule work, obtain approvals, and ensure quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a plumber or plumbing technician (any relevant years considered, though experienced craftsmen preferred).
Strong practical knowledge of piping, water supply systems, drainage, fixtures, and plumbing repair/maintenance tasks.
Ability to read and understand technical diagrams or basic building plans (as needed).
Skilled in diagnosing issues and executing timely, reliable repair work.
Awareness of safety standards and good practice in plumbing and maintenance work.
Good physical stamina and ability to handle manual work and tools.
Good reliability, punctuality, and ability to coordinate with team/supervisors.
